Terms of Use:

By logging onto a Xtreme IRC or Chatworlds Network server you agree to follow our Terms of Use Policy.  If you do not agree to these terms please terminate your connection to the network.

Denial of Service Attacks

No Nuking or Out of Bandwidth Illegal operations will be tolerated. If you are found to be engaging in Denial of Service Attacks you WILL be banned from the Network . Denial of Service attacks are illegal and punishable by law.  The Xtreme IRC and Chatworlds Networks will cooperate with all ISP's and law enforcement authorities in investigating denial of service claim.

Channel Takeovers, Abuse of Services

These activities will not be tolerated on this Network. Xtreme  IRC Network and Chatworlds provides an IRC services package to allow users to register their Nicknames and Channels.   Any user found to be engaged in a channel takeover attempt or attempting to abuse this networks services will be removed from the network.

Advertising

Mass advertising is not acceptable on this Network.  Channels will not advertise other IRC networks in their topics, however channels that have moved from XIRCN or Chatworlds to another IRC network may reference their new IRC network location for a period of seven (7) days. (after that time their room will then be closed, and forwarded to a corresponding network room) Channels also cannot mass advertise to users in other channels thru /invite, flooding invites, and mass invites (mass invite scripts). This is out of respect to each channel on the network.

Clones

Each user may have up to 2 connections to the Network.  If you are connecting from a location where multiple users will have the same hostmask please stop in #services and talk to a server admin, we will make exceptions to this rule on a case by case basis.

IRC Operator/O-Line Begging

Please do NOT ask for IRC Operator status or an O-Line.  IRC Operators are chosen by the Server Admins.  They are people that the Server Admins trust and feel can handle the responsibility.  Yes that's right "Responsibility".  Becoming an IRC Operator is not a "status" symbol.  Chatworlds and XIRCN's IRC Operators are volunteers, they have volunteered to help other users, and to help maintain the network as a safe and fun place to chat.  Repeated O-Line begging will almost guarantee that you will not receive an O-Line.

Harrassment

Repeated harrassment of other users and Chatworlds or XIRCN staff will not be tolerated.

Help Rooms

Only Official Chatworlds or XIRCN approved network help Rooms are allowed to be opened. All others will be closed by the staff. This is to keep the confusion down and the quality of help up for the users we appreciate everyones effort and you are welcome to help out in #help and #IRCbeginner. Thanks Chatworlds and XIRCN Staff.
